Government-funded UK scholarships for international students

• British Chevening Scholarships – UK scholarships for international students funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and partner organizations. The scholarships provide full or part funding for full-time graduate programs in any subject.
• • Commonwealth Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Countries – Scholarships for international students from developing countries in the Commonwealth, for studies at master’s and PhD level. The full list of eligible countries is available here.
• Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme at UK Universities – UK scholarships for international students undertaking taught master’s programs in the UK. Programs studied must be demonstrably relevant to the development of technology, economy or society within the student’s country of origin.
• • Marshall Scholarships – Postgraduate scholarships for US students showing academic merit, leadership potential and ambassadorial potential to study in the UK. Excludes MBAs and certain courses.

Non-governmental UK scholarships for international students

• Euraxess UK – Euraxess is an initiative of the European Commission, providing support for researchers in Europe. The UK branch of the scheme is run by the British Council, offering various graduate research scholarships for international students from around the world.
• CastleSmart Scholarship - Estate agent Castle Smart offers £6,000 annually for an undergraduate student in the UK (open to all nationalities). Applicants must create a compelling YouTube video outlining their study and career plans.
• Surfshark Privacy and Security Scholarship - A $2,000 prize is available to a student currently enrolled in the UK or another study destination as a high school, undergraduate or graduate student. You will need
• The Royal Society Grants – Various grants and fellowships are available for talented researchers in the UK and beyond.

Non-governmental UK scholarships for international students

• Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships – UK scholarships for doctoral students, research students and visiting fellows from India.
• Saltire Scholarships – Scholarships for students from Canada, the US, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong and China to study in Scotland at any degree level

Specially for Indian Students

To study in Australia:

• University of Adelaide Ashok Khurana Scholarship for Indian Students – Scholarships available for Indian students who are undertaking postgraduate study in selected fields at the University of Adelaide.
• India Global Leaders Scholarship – Full-tuition international scholarships for Indian students studying a coursework master’s degree or undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Queensland in Australia. Excludes MBAs
• University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) Future of Change India Scholarship – A scholarship for an Indian citizen who has been accepted to study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at UNSW Sydney. As part of your application you’ll need to submit a short video of you discussing how the scholarship will help you reach your goals.
• University of Queensland Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships – Another set of scholarships from the University of Queensland, this fund is open to students from India or Latin America to undertake coursework-based postgraduate study in biology-related subjects.

Canada government scholarship

The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) administers the International Scholarships Program (ISP) of Global Affairs Canada. The ISP is comprised of 14 select scholarship components that provide international students and researchers with study and research opportunities in Canada, and that provide Canadian students, researchers and professionals with study and research opportunities abroad.

The International Scholarships Program, funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada, helps advance Canadian institutions’ internationalization efforts, contributes to increasing student mobility, and serves to promote Canada as a study destination.

CBIE provides administration of the program including:

• Promotion of the scholarship programs through various communications mechanisms, including the International Scholarships Program website of Global Affairs Canada.
• Management of the application and selection processes, as well as the disbursement of funding to selected recipients.
• Data compilation, statistical analysis as well as reporting to the Government of Canada
• Management of events and activities related to the International Scholarship Programs such as round tables, study tours and collaboration missions.
